Northwestern University School of Medicine adopts Myprogress

Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine has adopted Myprogress for the assessment of clinical skills and entrustable professional activities with undergraduates on clinical rotation.

Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine has become the latest school to adopt Myprogress for assessment in clinical settings. Myprogress will be used to support students on placements across the Northwestern Medicine Health System, allowing them to capture feedback and evidence of skills using an offline mobile app and supporting web platform.

Feinberg is one of the top 20 research-oriented medical schools in the country according to the 2015 U.S. News & World Report ranking. The new MD curriculum that the school launched in 2012 provides students with relevant, hands-on clinical experiences from day one. Consistent, authentic, and relevant exposure to patients enables the development, deliberate practice, and true assessment of clinical skills.

Rob Arntsen, Chairman of MyKnowledgeMap, commented:

"We are delighted to welcome Feinberg School of Medicine into our rapidly growing community of users. The surge of interest we are experiencing in North America shows that the investment we've recently made in new workflows and features—in particular to support innovative ways of evaluating Entrustable Professional Activities and recording longitudinal clinical experiences—resonates with forward-thinking educators."
